Engaging Communities in Sagarileh Village, Falaba District

  

At The International Sister’s Alliance, we are committed to fostering strong community engagement in Sagrileh Village, Kabala District, West Africa, Sierra Leone. We believe that meaningful change begins with empowering individuals and communities to work together toward shared goals.

  

Our Approach to Community Engagement

We focus on building strong, inclusive communities by addressing the unique needs and challenges of Sagrileh Village. Our community engagement initiatives include:

  1. Education and Awareness: Promoting knowledge sharing on health, sustainability,      and women’s rights.
  2. Skill Development:     Offering training programs to enhance livelihoods and build resilience.
  3. Collaboration and Partnerships: Creating opportunities for collective action by      connecting local and global stakeholders.
  4. Health and Hygiene Awareness: Educating the community on drug misuse, proper      hygiene, and preventive healthcare.

Women’s Empowerment Workshops

Empowering women is at the heart of our mission. Our workshops focus on:

  • Leadership training to encourage women’s active participation      in community decision-making.
  • Financial literacy programs to help women manage      resources effectively.
  • Education on health and well-being tailored to the      needs of women in Sagrileh.

Youth Engagement Initiatives

The youth are the future of Sagrileh Village. We work to:
